Focus: Notice what matters
Find your targets, filter distractions and keep the rule in mind.
What focus practice looks like
Focus games ask you to notice the right thing quickly: the ink color, not the word; the arrow’s direction; the one sock without a pair; the dots you were told to follow.
They are short and fast, and the rule is always shown before you start.
You’ll practice
- Processing speed. Answering accurately at pace.
- Response control. Stopping the move that comes first when it’s wrong.
- Selective attention. Noticing what matters and ignoring what doesn’t.
- Mental flexibility. Switching rules quickly without slipping.
- Rule switching. Changing what you do the moment the rule changes.
