Knowledge: Discover something new
Connect clues across science, history, geography and everyday life.
What knowledge practice looks like
Knowledge games are about the world: capitals and flags, when things happened, how big or how many, and whether a statement is true. Each one is a quick round of questions with the answer explained after.
In the iPhone app, lessons add a one-minute idea first, so the game that follows uses something you just read. Anything you miss comes back another day.
You’ll practice
- World knowledge. Knowing where places are and what they’re called.
- General knowledge. Facts across history, science, exploration and the arts.
- Recall under pressure. Bringing a fact to mind quickly.
- Two-way memory. Recalling a pair from either side.
- Estimation. Judging roughly how big, long or heavy something is.
